Honey is considered by veterinarians and animal nutritionists as the best natural sweetener for dogs. It is not only tasty but extremely healthful and nutritious. Honey is rich in vitamins (A, B complex, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, C, D, E, K, Niacin), and various minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, iron, copper, sulfur etc.). Coconut Cream

This fruit contains good fatty acids called Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) which regulate and balance insulin and thyroid levels. The main component (more than 40%) of MCTs is lauric acid, followed by capric acid, caprylic acid, myristic acid and palmitic. The lauric acid has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. Capric and caprylic acids have similar properties and are best known for their anti-fungal effects. Additionally, coconut contains albumin, a water-soluble protein which significantly assists in the formation of red blood cells.

Sunflower Seed Oil

Most veterinarians recommend giving your dogs sunflower oil which benefits their health in several ways. Sunflower oil can help improve:

1. Heart health: Sunflower oil helps improve the health of your dog's cardiovascular system by reducing LDL cholesterol, which is harmful to their heart, and boosting the efficacy of the "good" colesterol, HDL.
2. Immune function: Inflammation can result from an issue in your dog's immune system. The omega-6 fatty acids in sunflower oil can help to reduce inflammation levels and, in turn, improve immune system response.
3. Skin and coat health: Sunflower oil is also rich in antioxidants and vitamins. The oil contains vitamin E, which keeps your dog's skin healthy and regulates hair growth, and vitamin A, which prevents dry skin by promoting new skin cell growth. It's also a great source of vitamin C, which helps wounds heal faster.

Vegetable Fibres (Chicory, Acacia)

Chicory & Acacia Fibres are both pure, soluble vegetable fibres with healthful prebiotic benefits for dogs. They are also used to provide body and texture in our frozen dessert. Rice Protein

Our rice protein is a high quality and concentrated protein with a protein content of more than 80%, which is produced in Europe from non-GMO raw materials sources.

Similar to humans, many dogs suffer with gastrointestinal issues which can be caused by a food allergy or an intolerance.

With unique protein and carbohydrate sources, limited-ingredient diets reduce the number of potential triggering allergens in the end product. As a hypoallergenic, clean label ingredient that is free from the most frequent food allergens, rice protein is well suited for use in such diets.

In pet foods when high digestibility is required, rice protein is also the ideal ingredient. It has shown an apparent digestibility of 87% in dogs, making it not only attractive for pets with allergies, but also for sensitive pets such as puppies and older animals.

Among plant proteins, the rice protein has the highest essential amino acids content which is required to promote long-term health for adult dogs.

Furthermore, it is also a good source of methionine/cysteine and phenylalanine/tyrosine, which are involved in some major metabolic processes as well as supporting a pet's normal growth.

Ground Peruvian Carob Seeds

Carob seeds are 100% natural and healthy for dogs that gives them great health benefits. They are also used as a natural stabiliser in our frozen dessert. Carob seeds help improve blood circulation, lower cholesterol levels, promote better calcium absorption, and aid in eliminating toxins from the body. Carob seeds are also good sources of iron, calcium, magnesium, niacin, pectin and vitamin B2. They also contain vitamins B1, A and D.

There are also three types of antioxidants found in carob seeds: flavonoids, phenolic acids and tannins. Antioxidants in carob help in protecting against free radicals which can cause damage to cells and are linked to ageing and a host of diseases.
